Leasing Information
Leasing Info Thank you for choosing HasBrouck Real Estate. This page will help guide you through the process of leasing a property. Our intention is to help alleviate the stressful and ardous task of searching and finding a home that meets your every need. Getting Started After finding a listed property, you will first need to contact our office and notify the receptionist of the particular property that is of interest. The receptionist will then direct you to the property manager of the property who will, in greater detail, describe the property to you. If you have a continued interest, the property manager will then schedule a time that best fits both of your schedules to show the property. Upon Viewing Once the property has been viewed and you remain interested, you will then be asked to fill out an application and charged an application fee of $30. Once the application is reviewed by the property manager and approved, your next step is the signing of the lease. Signing of the Lease Once the application is approved, the signing of the lease must commence at the earliest possible time to assure your claim to the property. We recommend you view the online sample lease provided above in order to help expedite the process. A careful reading and understanding is required and we recommend and encourage questions to help ensure your complete understanding. We prefer everyone within the group to sign the lease together, but understand that this can be difficult and will accommodate accordingly. Security Deposit A security deposit is due at the signing of the lease. This acts as a mutual agreement on behalf of both parties that the said property will be reserved for you until the commencement of the lease. The security deposit is usually one month's rent, but can be as high as two month's rent, and is asked to be payed in a single check. Questions I hope we were successful in guiding you through this process and hope your stay with HasBrouck is enjoyable. For any questions please feel free to call or e-mail. | ||
